TROUBLESHOOTING-RESTORING APPLE I-DEVICES

Hi,sometimes we may like to restore our IOS devices for several reasons.But while restoring with i-tunes we encounter several problems.Here i provide you a solution for very common problem.

Some times while restoring with i-tunes,it may show the following message-

 

I had this problem with my new ipod touch and after many tries,i am finally able to restore my ipod touch.If any of you guys had the same problem,you may follow this..

1. open NOTEPAD-as ADMIN(right click on notepad and select run as administrator)
2. In Notepad go to File-open.
3. open this path-----c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc----

    4. There change File type to--All Files

    5.  Then select--hosts--file

    6.   In the hosts file add this--

74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com 

TO THE TOP LINE-- 

  7.   Then SAVE the file and open i-tunes.

  8.   Now restore your i-device and it should work.

If you are interested in astro physics,an amateur astronomer and if you don't have a telescope but have a N8 then you are done.You can use your N8 for ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY(telescope).
Michael has done the same.He   modified his N8 for Astrophotography.Michael says he was drawn to the N8 because of the size of its sensor. It’s fairly large (and larger than many dedicated digital cameras at the time of launch and still to this day). He notes that for a camera phone, ‘it’s really big!’ and so very sensitive to light.Great for planetary work apparently, and major plus due to the HDMI out. A wish though is that the N8 would have a long exposure mode.
