TROUBLESHOOTING-RESTORING APPLE I-DEVICES

Hi,sometimes we may like to restore our IOS devices for several reasons.But while restoring with i-tunes we encounter several problems.Here i provide you a solution for very common problem.

Some times while restoring with i-tunes,it may show the following message-

 

I had this problem with my new ipod touch and after many tries,i am finally able to restore my ipod touch.If any of you guys had the same problem,you may follow this..

1. open NOTEPAD-as ADMIN(right click on notepad and select run as administrator)
2. In Notepad go to File-open.
3. open this path-----c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc----

    4. There change File type to--All Files

    5.  Then select--hosts--file

    6.   In the hosts file add this--

74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com 

TO THE TOP LINE-- 

  7.   Then SAVE the file and open i-tunes.

  8.   Now restore your i-device and it should work.

If you are interested in astro physics,an amateur astronomer and if you don't have a telescope but have a N8 then you are done.You can use your N8 for ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY(telescope).
Michael has done the same.He   modified his N8 for Astrophotography.Michael says he was drawn to the N8 because of the size of its sensor. It’s fairly large (and larger than many dedicated digital cameras at the time of launch and still to this day). He notes that for a camera phone, ‘it’s really big!’ and so very sensitive to light.Great for planetary work apparently, and major plus due to the HDMI out. A wish though is that the N8 would have a long exposure mode.

Nokia N8 wins Techradar's Best camera phone contest

Techradar.com(deep in to technology) puts a test for six phones-
N8,Iphone-4s,HTC EVO-3D,Motorola XT720,Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc,Samsung Galaxy 2.
Pushing all the others Nokia N8 stands out to be the best camera phone ever since it has been a  year old.

Techradar conducted a series of tests in a variety of settings under different conditions including a “Color Accuracy test” where they shot a mulit-colored chart and saw the best color differentiation and preservation, as well as a “Lab test” where they captured an image of a detailed graph and saw which phone captured the largest amount of detail at 100% crop.Here is the color chart ISO..

In both the Color Accuracy test and the Lab Chart test the N8-00  came in first place (With the 4S coming in last in the color accuracy, and being disqualified from the Lab test due to lack of manual settings).

The winner of this test is the Nokia N8 – but only in terms of providing the best pictures quality in the widest range of areas.

An updated windows os for the rumoured Nokia Lumia900....

The most rumoured Nokia Lumia900 reveals to have some newer versions of the Windows OS mostly an interim between Windows Mango and Tango.This version is expected to add LTE suuport to the device.

But we have to wait to know if this version of os update will be provided to the existing devices or it is only for the upcoming LTE devices.The snap shot provided here is of Lumia800's having the updated version of os.Here the version shown is 7.10.8107.79 where as the existing devices have v7.10.7740.16.Nokia Lumia900 is also expected to have similar build v8104.

Recently pocketnow.com has managed to get a picture of an unannounced nokia phone running windows operating system and bearing at&t at its top.It is named as nokia ace/lumia 900.Take a look at the snap shots of nokia ace/lumia 900..

The nokia lumia900 by the name itself it suggests that it is a successor of nokia lumia800.We can observe from the snap shots that lumia900 has some improvements like the front camera for video calling and increased screen size(in the second snap shot the distance between keys and border is reduced that suggests an increased screen size).But one thing disappointing is lumia900 is not having the curved glass like its predecessor lumia800.The device is expected to feature a large 4.3" clear black screen,1.4GHZ processor, AT&T LTE 4G and some other ample specs making it a decent competitor for the US and Windows Phone in general.We may get more info about this one in the coming CES in las vegas on monday,january9 2012 at 3:00-3:45pm.
Moreover this one is third in lumia series and one more handset is expected.This Lumia series may become the flagship of Nokia like the ages old N-series.
