Flashing tutorial-How to flash symbian belle V111.030.0609 to your N8 with phoenix

Hi everyone do you feel that your nokia N8 is too slow.Need to make it faster and smoother,get ANDROID like interface for it!Then flash your N8s with SYMBIAN BELLE V.111.030.0609.Anyhow you'l get an official update of belle to your devices.But if you cannot wait then go on for this..........We recommend you to see the screen shots of N8 flashed with belle in our previous post before proceeding further.

note:flash your devices at your own risk.i advice to continue to flashing if you have warranty period for your device,which is a safe side.
Before proceeding further,ensure you have all these:

1. Fully charge your N8(100% battery is recommended)
2. An USB cable.
3. Windows firewall is off.
4. Your ANTI-VIRUS is off or uninstalled.(uninstallation is recommended).
5. Latest version of PHOENIX software installed on your pc or lap.(If you don't have you can download it here-http://www.multiupload.com/1EYFF0K3GA.After downloading extract the file and install it.ensure anti-virus protection is off.)
6. Download the firmware SYMBIAN BELLE V111.030.0609 files here-http://www.multiupload.com/DQLZHI4N9X
7. Extract the firmware files.The archive consists of following folders(belle ringtones+belle wallpapers+icon text enabler+deleted apps+RM-596).Among all these we only need the RM-596 folder.rest all are provided just as a safe side.

Having all these you can proceed to flashing safely-

1. The N8 which you are flashing can be even on PR1.1.symbian anna is not necessary.
2. Copy and paste the folder RM-596 in the following path: C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products
3. Now connect your N8 in NOKIA OVI SUITE mode.(make sure ovi suite is closed)
4. Start phoenix and in CONNECTIONS select RM-596.

5.Go to file and hit SCAN PRODUCT..then wait untill the product is displayed in the bottom of phoenix.

6.Now go to FLASHING(at the top of phoenix) and select FIRMWARE UPDATE.

7.Firmware update window opens.In it select the product code by clicking on the three dots.select the product code.(product code may be anyone)

8.click OPTIONS in firmware update window and DELETE file(s) in RED and select OK.

9.Now select REFURBISH in the firmware update window.The flashing process starts and a window pop ups asking you to disconnect your N8,hold power button for a while and then connect it.

Then flashing completes and your N8 boots with belle in its heart.The flashing process takes 5 to 10 min. on an average pc or lap.Don't worry if it strucks.wait for a while it will be ok.Enjoy the new and smoother and faster improved interface.After N8 boots and then if you encounter any problem then HARD RESET(*#7370#) it.Then it will be ok.
